Is there a way to make the forum link in the main menu to link to my IPB board instead of the board that comes with xoops?

Also when an anonymous user goes to my page they see nothing but a few links. Is there a way to show them news and all the links, top news, recent news, etc. It seems like they have to register to see anything and when I'm in admin section and click on blocks and try to modify the anonymous users section there aren't even those choices to put on the page anonymous users see...

@marshallg, you can set the access right in admin menu -> system -> groups. and choose anonymous. then from there you can set the permission to view modules like news, download, forum, etc... and also permission to view a block.

as far i know, you can make your own main menu by using Multimenu.
