I have to add a 150 page document on a site using XOOPS and they want the navigation to follow an outline like below.

Navigation Menu/Mod title
|
|_____Section 1
|___________sub1
|___________sub3
|___________sub3
|_____Section 2
|___________sub1
|___________sub3
|___________sub3

I thought TinyD might be good for this but I would have to install a TinyD mod for each section of the document and that is A LOT of modules to install. It doesnt allow me to create multiple main menu items/sections and then put subsections under them.

Is there a mod like TinyD or otherwise that would best suit this type of need? I basically want navigation that follows the outline of my doc so i need control over the nav.

Please help... I really need to deliver tomorrow ro I'm mud.

Thanx in advance

I think the News 1.2.x should come close to this with the navigate through topics block. The upcoming AMS module will also be similar, and it would also be worth giving WF-Section a look.

Bugger, I've just double checked with News and AMS and they only show the top level topic in the navigate through topics block. I'll be putting this on the wish list for the next version of AMS though as it seems like a pretty logical function to have. I'm not sure about WF-Section, so it should be worth giving it a go.

Hi bluwu

Why don?t you try this one https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=1778

It?s a tinycontent based module with a lot of great features, including the possibility of menus-submenus as you?re looking for.

Regards,
Wilson
