e-mail problem

Hi,
I am using XOOPS 2.0.7.3, and it's not sending out any of the e-mails (like confirmation when someone joins).I am running postfix on a Mandrake 10.0 server.

I know that the e-mail server is working right because it send me system logs via. email just fine.

When someone joins it says that the confirmation message has been sent, but it never arrives.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

go to admin menu->system->preferences->mail setup

maybe you should change the configuration there.

I have already done that and ran through all the varients.
The only setup that doesn't give me an error is if I tell it to use sendmail.postfix or sendmail.
I have tried it both ways, but I have had no luck.

If I try using smtp server it gives me an error.

I also have the same error message by SMTP.
And no error message by sendmail but the members not recieved any mail.

Anyone can help me please ?

Me too,

I run 2.0.6 (recently upgraded from 2.0.5) and Liaise 1.2 which worked fine for a while and then suddenly, my system stops sending out notifications and even the basic Contact module doesn't work. Again, i checked system/admion/preferences/mail setup and tried all the variants to no avail.

Anybody know why this might happen?
Also: How do you 'hardlog' XOOPS so that it completes the upgrade from 2.0.5 to 2.0.6 fully?
