I have posted this before about some problems with mail sending when a user registers on my sf.net site (xoops 2.0.7.3).
The problem is that some (not all ) users don't get the registration keys. And sometimes I don't get the mail about the new user registration.
I changed from phpmail to sendmail but the problem still exists.
The only thing that comes to mind is to change to smtp.
There is a server that can accept my smtp request but I have to use a username and a password to get connected. This is not a smptAuth server but plain smtp with username/password.
How do I do this. Where do I set the username and password for the smtp server? Putting the values in the smtpAuth fields does not work.
Can anyone help?
