headlines block empty

I have my headlines block set to visable on all pages, the link to headlines works and all the feeds are there, but the headlines block is always empty.

Why is the headline block empty but everything else works?

I reinstalled the module just to make sure all the files are there. Is it a caching thing?

the rss template had some weird extention on it for some reason. All fixed.
