Is there a way to install XOOPS without using the wizard?

What I am currently trying to do is let the users create subsites very easily by clicking a link to copy all the files to a new, user named directory. The problem is that I work with people that are not so technical and would not know what to enter for database name, user, etc. Anyone ever attempt something like this before?

Any help is welcome.
