It's probably easy, and I realise that IIS isn't everyone's favourite beastie!

I now have PHP working (I think), with latest XOOPS (2.0.7.3). Before I 'fixed' my php installation, I got most of the way through the installer an then it failed because of MySQL library issues. Now this has fixed, I copied across the installer html directory again, expecting to see it work, however now it freezes at the first page ('Welcome.... choose language....'). Hitting next returns me to the same page.

My first thought was cookies (or SP2 messing with security domains, etc), but tuning this hasn't turned up much yet.

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

OK - It appears as though PHP version is the issue (should've searched deeper in forum before posting perhaps?? :).

Switched to 4.3.9 and everything looks better now.. (Although now need to work out where to reduce php debug, since i'm still getting wierd php compile errors at the bottom of each page!).
