my hope is to one day use XOOPS to make and maintain a site devoted to my love of fantasy sports.
I would like to have a module that retrieves data from the db and would allow me to put it into a block, or series of blocks, and then in tables or whatever...

i currently use phpmyadmin to create an enter tables into my db, and would like a graphical way to pull that data out.

it would be totally ideal to make the data that is pulled out be specific to the user that is currently logged in.

example: the fantasy football league has 8 owners. each owner has a team of 16 players. when owner 1 logs in, i'd like to only display the players on his team... i would also like to allow owners to trade players back and forth and acquire new players to their teams and drop current players from their team.

i have some basic SQL and PHP programming knowledge, and I realize how intensive this would be... (well it seems so daunting to me that I really don't know where to begin)
