I have tons of modules on my pc and loads on my site

I am always finding odd errors and fixing them as presumably loads of us are??

So is it ok to submit modules you have improved to XOOPS development site?

or do they have to be your own modules?

If so where can i submit modules that have been improved?

sourceforge?

dev.xoops.org is a Development site. If you have other people's modules and want to continously develop on them and want to be part of the development community, you are free to open new projects for them on dev.xoops.org

However, if you have a new modified version with bugfixes and/or new features and just need a place to make it available for download, you can submit it to the Modules Repository here on the site.

or alternatively, provide the original author with the bugfixes, so that they can integrate the fixes with their next official release. it's better than having 10 versions of the same module floating around.
