After the Installation my XOOPS-Site prints a php-error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CLONE, expecting T_STRING in /home/httpd/html/xoops/kernel/object.php on line 528

Is that a known problem?

btw: How do I use de search-function in this forum?? I got no results, even for the keyword "xoops". ??

Some parts of the site have been redone over the weekend so its currently under works. Search should be back soon.

Are you running PHP 5.x?

If so XOOPS isn´t ready for it yet. A search would have helped a little as there are some discussions but now for the moment you are left with the option to browse the forum by topics for this.

There is a XOOPS version available on dev.xoops.org with the number 2.08 which is a testing version for php5. Maybe that helps you for now. If you use it please report any issues there that you still might have with that one.
