I want to set up XOOPS user login to use only SSL (during the
authentication phase), while the site itself can be reached using plain HTTP. Preferably when selecting SSL login in the preferences, that the FORM POST action is a HTTPS url?

I only could manage to get an additional link for "safe login" next to the plain HTTP login. If I switch this block off, I don't have any login possibility.

Is it at all possible without changing the code itself?

Thx,

Hans Feringa

Have you had any luck with this?

Not yet. I also want the page that edits the profile of the user always via SSL (https). Mainly because the password is
changed using this page.

My only option at this moment is to run XOOPS SSL only.

Hi Hans/Jacob,
I am looking for XOOPS user login with SSL enabled.
Somehow XOOPS doesn't use SSL just for login page .
I have to run entire XOOPS site on SSL which is not what I want to do.

Thanks,
Sagar
