Thanks for your reply. I have a nonprofit community technology program in Mid-City Los Angeles. We operate a community wi-fi network, and are developing a online community network to complement it.

So far, we have not been able to engage any technical folks to assist us, work with us, and/or guide us in this effort. We've looked at a lot of Open Source CMSs and groups of college students did some research and made recommendations on which ones we should seriously consider. XOOPS was highly recommended and seems to fit opur needs - we just lack the expertise/guidance needed to jumpstart the project.
