How big a job is it to clone a module like FAQ?

Is it just a question of copying the faq module creating a new directory called say FAQ2 and then changing the name in all the referance urls within the php, html and sql files from xoopsfaq_ to xoopsfaq2_ for example?

or am I being a little optimistic?

Your basically on the right track Javelin. Let me suggest you use XSAS server. Theres a link on the left here ... Its a great way of experimenting with XOOPS on your own local machine without. affecting your own site. If things go wrong, just reload XOOPS and start again.
