Hi, I already have a XOOPS site running for some time now, now I've decided to make a German Portal, and to do that, I'm going to use Mambo, because I do not need all of XOOPS features for that second site (i.e. forums etc...). Now my question is, how can I make Mambo use my existing XOOPS user DB only?

Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's a good question

Basically, you should "only" use the XOOPS user DB from Mambo to handle logins as the Mambo user profiles are quite different from XOOPS user profiles, I imagine.

It's a tricky one and I don't have an answer for you...

I doubt anyone has done this before. I would say you'll need to pay someone to write a conversion script.
