How do you add your content to your custom block? Specifically, how do you add images to a custom block? I assume that you upload your gif to the uploads/images folder then link to it by clicking the image icon and typing in the URL, but when I do all I see is the typed URL that I made. What am I overlooking?

I figure it's in the way I write the image or URL address where I'm making the obvious mistake -- but what is it?

I suggest you use "multimenu" module

OK, so I have an image called test.gif and I have uploaded it to my uploads folder.

Does that mean the code should look like this: Resized Image

Because I have that and the only thing I see on the page is the code not the actual image.

Maybe you use:

../../upload/image.gif

or

<{$xoops_url}>/upload/image.gif

Thanks. I finally got it to work, but by inputing the address manually like so: <IMG alt="" src="../../uploads/images/welcome.gif" border=0>

For some reason the automatic icon in the block editor never did work.

It worked for me! What content type you are using? if you select html, the icon will not work. only if you select php script.
