Would this work for a web hosting enviroment or would I need the professional version? Personally, I am still really liking Mandrake 10, but I'm curious about SuSE as well. I'll be at CompUSA Saturday, so I thought I'd ask you guys about this.

djsckizo -

First of all, Novell is offering a free dl of 9.1 Personal now, so I wouldn't pay them $40 for it.

Secondly, you'll find that the Personal version is pretty well stripped down. However, there's nothing stopping you from install the packages you need.

Once you add apache, mysql, and php, you should be good to go.

Or, if you want Pro, you can request a free copy of that as well (I'll have to find the link). Believe it or not, they'll send you the DVD for free.

No support, but hey, that's what google is for.

John
