My ultimate plan is build a fantasy football site where there are only 8 registered users (one XOOPS user = one team owner in the league). I have been importing sample data into my db, creating tables, and learning various SQL queries using phpmyadmin.
i know that i will be using php in order to bring the data to the pages in the XOOPS site and formatting it using variations of php and html... but what i'd really like to do is have everything be dynamically loaded based on the user that is logged in.
ex. user1 = team1
user1 logs in and his team information (roster, schedule, stats etc) appear automatically on the page.
I can write the mySQL queries to return that type of data from the db, but making them use the XOOPS user id that gets logged in is where i am (pardon the pun) fumbling.
any suggestions will be very helpful.
