still no luck

1) The request method is not POST; or
2) The HTTP_REFERER check fails; or
3) The file cache/adminmenu.php cannot be written to.

adminmenu.php is set to 644 should be ok.. wont let me change it anyways

HTTP_REFERER check... i dont know what that is

how do i check the method action?

i dont get it... XOOPS works fine on my other site

Do you have a firewall? Turn it off for a test.

The referrer check is basically a page checking from which page you came thus the link you are using to get to the page you are trying to access.

If that referrer is suppressed by a firewall or the browser (if you use opera just press F12 to check there) then you can get the problem you have now.

Please try this first than we continue if it´s a 'no luck there' situation.

If it works when the firewall is turned off ... check this lonk:

uh ... on your webspace you should be allowed to set permissions differently(?)

Cache folder itself is 777? Maybe try to delete adminmenu.php in the cache directory and see if that helps?
