one of my users have this problem from last night.
he said havent this before.
i dont know what is this.
any help plz.

he havent this problem in other XOOPS site.
and have this only from last night.
my forum: newbb pro by samuels
xoops 2.0.7
anyone can explain this?

Hi there

I’m struggling to understand your English…. What country are you from I can forward you to the XOOPS site of you’re language and they might be able to help you easier!!! Otherwise I need you to explain the error a little better for us to all try and determine the problem. Another thing just because a user “member” of your community/site is having an error obtaining you forums and no one else is getting this error it is a problem on his behalf tell him to check his browser settings and to also turn off Norton or zone or any other internet security program these are a pest.

in said him turn off all firewall ,...
and i write error: " ERROR: forum not selected "
when he want send any post this error dispaly by click on submit.
i know this is an Ie error or local error but i want help him.
u consider that he havent this problem with my test subdomain.
and havent this problem before last night.

Hi irmtfan,

I understand you fine . What operating system are you using? If this only started happening last night, what whas changed on the server just prior? Was NewBB Pro used on the test sub domain? Have you tried clearing you template_c and cache directories?

uuummm

i set 30 sec cache for newbb module maybe this is cause the problem.
i clear template_c and cache directories.
i ask him if problem solved then

i found the exact problem:
when user click on submit turn to: "the page can not be displayed" and then when refresh the page it said : "ERROR: forum not selected"
any idea or solution.
is this related to host or not??

I get that error here all the time....

View xoops.org as a guest and click on any forum topic. If you want to reply to a post, you'll have to "Register to Post". Click on that and you are taken to a user login page... Login and you'll get the login re-direct as being successful and then you'll get another re-direct call that should be sending you to a reply editor but says Error - Forum not selected.

A fix for this would be very helpful....
