Is There a Module for Manually Adding New Users?

Greetings,

Is there a module that I can use in a shiny new XOOPS site that would let me manually add new users?

This site is for a client that provides a database of research articles to public schools, he requires payment from the school before they are allowed to access the database so he doesn't want anyone to create their own account. He is able to fill out forms and generally work in a straight-forward admin environment, but would not understand scripts or directly editing the database (nor would I want him to).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Gail,
It's easy to add users through the Admin section of a normal XOOPS site. Go to System Admin > Edit User, on the bottom half of the page you can add new users.

And you DID set the preferences so that users cannot register themselves, correct? :) Just checking.

Thanks for checking! The answer is yes, and now I'm figuring out how to change the HTML so that the "Register Now!" link is gone.
