I've a little problem with the signature!

I've recently updated to version 2.0.7 and I can't insert long signature, with an old version I've changed the database and put user_sign to TEXT, but now (with also user_sign to TEXT) it doesn't work!
How colud I resolve this problem?

Please someone could help me?

Are you putting more than 256 characters in the signature? Then you should edit edituser.php
line 95:

$edituser->setVar('user_sig', xoops_substr($user_sig, 0, 255));

and change the 255 to some higher number
