how do i donwload xoops?i tried to find it but i just says cores templates it doesnt say download XOOPS or what ever

Yup, you want the core for a new install.

Alternativly, you can get the files directly from Sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=41586&package_id=72954
