i installed XOOPS on my site using fantastico. it is version 2.0.5.2, i wanted to add some modules from here from the downloads section. but there are diffrent versions.

does it make a diffrence in the versions?

can i install any module in my current version?

For XOOPS 2.0.5.2, you can (or *should* these are mostly 3rd party modules, so no guarantees) install any modules written for XOOPS 2.0 or higher.

Did you just start out on your site? (checked and it looks plain blank right now)

If so i would consider reinstalling XOOPS by yourself.
There have been some reportings about Fantastico installations with mixed results.

(do a search on fantastico in the forum)

Also this would allow you to start with XOOPS 2.0.7 which got several bug and security fixes compared to 2.0.5.2.

If you need help with the manual install you will for sure find it here. It´s not difficult.
