Everytime I try to logg in to my domain.....some
Internet Optimizer comes up....

I let my firwall down for no more than 5 minutes!!!
I went to my C drive try to remove it ...no luck...
Went to Control Panel on my CPU and try to remove the program, no luck...it says I dont have access for both!!

Sounds like you need Spybot S&D on your system... its a browser hi-jack ... not a server one.

And would it rid a program already attached?

Spybot Search and Destroy,
Adaware,
Spyware guard,
Spyware Blaster,
and MRU Blaster

I use them all and their all free and use very little resources

I find AdAware from lavasoft to be very good at killing these unwanted nasties. It's fee too for personal use

wow..what an escapade I went on. I downloaded the program dl suggested. It worked perfect...then I got to savvy with it..without reading..like most men do...and ran an immunization. WHOA.....when I did that ..next time I tried to run IE, i couldnt connect to ANYTHING..lol..I was running crazy!!!....WENT BACK TO SPYBOT...to see what I did...noticed I took some IE plougins off...put them back in..still no luck...called a friend who is a Tech, told me to just reinstall my inet ISP programed, tried that ...didnt work...then.,....I said hold up..I forget about a GREAT TOOL that is on XP....SYSTEM RESTORE!..so, i went back to july 4th. WALLAH..Im back in business..lol..I decided not to redownload spybot..even though I know it is a great program, I do not have the mind capacity right now to learn yet another program.

The reason this all happen cause I let my ZoneAlarm firewall down for 5 MINUTES!!!!.....warning for those using FIREWALLS....what ever you do...DO NOT LET IT DOWN...it seems like prgrams are just WAITING to feast on your system when they can find an entrance......

well back to work....

tj, check the updates to my site...see if you like it!...I had the Noahs on there....but took it off....for some bug on the system, everytime I logged off...it will keep me in logged on, plus no matter who came to the site..they were logged on as ADMIN.....so yet more work I have to do...I cant wait to everything I am doing is FINISHED...so i can finally relax *sighs*

even though I only used Spybot ONCE....it is FAR SUPERIOR to ad aware, which I currently have on my system and use daily....SPYBOT was able to literally SEARCH AND DESTROY...but like I said, I am not even going to attempt to play with that program, you can do some serious damage if you do not know what you are doing..lol

I will stay using my Zone Alram Firewall, and AD-AWARE!


They have been doing the job so far...
