Is it possible for users to have their own pages or blogs etc.?

also, is it possible for users to choose groups to belong to. I would like users to get customized info. upon logging in based on their preferences, i.e. if they like want news about Africa, they belong to the africa group and get the africa news and rss feeds on first page after login. anybody have any ideas?thanks

Weblog will allow users to have their own blogs (I might be wrong)

All other requests of yours are not possible with xoops.

yet!

Most of it just needs a not-yet-developed module - and will be mucho easier in future XOOPS versions, where we will (among other things) focus on content categories.

thanks for the info. Maybe XOOPS isn't the answer for me, perhaps tikiwiki, but that seems a bit complex for the users. I can't even get XOOPS to work without an error everytime someone tries to login, so maybe that is a sign.
