I'm using myAlbum-P 2.75 with GD on and force GD2 on and I can't seem to get the thumbnails to work properly. When I have thumbnails on, it basicaly creates a second copy of the original image. So my thumbnails are only smaller in dimensiional size. Their file size is still the same. This is making for very LONG loading of categories and new listings.

Is there a way to make the thumbnails smaller in file size than my original photos? I go into "Redo Thumbnails" and it tells me it failed to create them so it is just copying them. I don't want that. What can I do?
