Forums default view

Hi all.

Stupid question im sure but how can i get the forums to display with all replies visible as default instead of having to click on the flat button all the time???

So it looks more like traditional forums.

Change the setting in Systems Admin >> Preferences >> General Settings to Nested/Flat or Threaded as you prefer.

Thanks Ive set it to Flat but it still looks the same. Ive tried all three settings and it doesnt change?

Is there another step i need to do?

That setting is for comments. I have the same question about setting flat vs. threaded in the forums. Any ideas out there?

I think I dorted it. if you goto edit account when youve logged ina s a user, change the comments bit to flat as well and it seem to have worked.

Let me know if it does for you to :)

This is still on a per-user basis. Is there no way to set it globally other than to dive into the code...the admins of this site obviously managed to do it. How is it done, please tell us.
