Hi, i am new to XOOPS -- does anyone know of a good module which can list training courses, dates when those courses are offered (past and future dates)--which can function as an event/training calendar -- of course with text boxes for venues, course description, etc.

please help! -- i don't think that the piCal is enough for this requirement, and Agenda-X falls a little short of these requirements.

Yes, sounds like a job for Moodle4XOOPS

Unfortunately it is still in development.

If you require it very soon and just need that and nothing else, you could just look at moodle (it's a standalone CMS-like system, but very focused on a course database)
