New theme destroys website?

I had a website running with Xoops, and I changed the theme, and when I want to view my site with the new theme, it's just a blank page. I can't login anymore, the url ..../user.php is also blank, and if I try ..../admin.php, I dont' have enough rights. How can I restore my previous theme???

I had Zaja-System, and I wanted to change it with 4thebiz Color

You could

- rename the 4thebiz Color theme folder to something else
- then rename the Zaja-System folder to the name of the 4thebiz Color folder

If you can see everything again after this (thus logging in) you change the theme to default and clean up the mess

doesn't work here. Isn't it possible to change the theme in one of the config files? I've been searching for hours now, but I can't find the right one.

Sorry to hear that

The selected theme is not stored in the config files.
It is stored in the database under 'config' but i am not that sql crack to tell you how to change this. :(

I changed it in the database under config and now everything works fine. Now I need

It's always nice to try something never considering that such a simple thing could break it all and regret the next moment not to have a backup. Who has not had plenty of these situations?

Anyway.. is the zaja system themes incompatible with XOOPS or what? I already try some 7dana-made themes , but all of them show blank page. Did i miss some thing?
