Hi,

I want to link to download files within my own website (ie, the downloadable files are stored on my site).

I just added a download using the administrator log-in, then went to see if if the link was working. When I click to download the file, I get the 'Leeching' webpage and notification that my IP address has been logged?!

Where should my own downloadable files go, and how do I point to them? I'm currently using:

/modules/mydownloads/foldername/filename.zip

this is what's giving me the leech message.

Hope this doesn't look like too much of a 'noob' question. Thanks for your help folks.

Hmm, it seems to be automatically adding the 'http://' bit everytime I try to modify the URL?

http:///modules/mydownloads/Starlight/starlight5800.zip

Hi czrsiNk,

In your MyDownloads General Settings, make sure you have you http://www.yourdomain.com listed in the "This Sites can directly link you files" section.
