Greetings, all.

I'm having difficulties with a test installation of XOOPS 1.06 under Gentoo Linux.

The time of displayed messages is in GMT time, yet I've set both the Server Timezone and the Local Timezone to the correct setting (MST, US and Canada). For example, 12h02 local is showing up as:
Quote:

Current time is: 2004/4/26 19:02:34

I've checked the Linux hardware clock, software clock, NTP, localtime and PHP localtime parameters. Nothing seems amiss. I've rebooted the server (after some further checks), with no joy.

Might someone be able to shed some light onto my problem? I'll accept my lumps if I've slipped into n00b mode :)

Aha. N00b mode it is. I should really get some sleep before I post to help forums.

I've left the personal settings on GMT (user account). Time for some well deserved ribbing, me thinks.

As an aside, I've found this to be the best CMS I've seen yet (worked with Nuke, PostNuke and a few others). Kudos :)
