Hi,
How do I let XOOPS can decide access from where ?

My Router have problem is when user from private LAN
can not access our web site by name likehttp://abc.abc.
abc, also can't usehttp://123.123.123.123 outside
static IP to access our public web site. But it can be
use private IP to access public web site by local IP.

Now problem is XOOPS only record one name or IP to
define response request from where, have any hacks can
help to decide this request from where?

This is a common DNS issue when trying to access a local server behind a firewall/router. Assuming that external users can access you'll need to make the configured hostname resolve to the interal IP when accessed from the inside.

Several ways to do this, have a "dummy" domain configured inside if you have an internal DNS server. This domain is set like the real one except internal IPs are configured instead of the public IPs where appropriate.

Another way if you have only a few machines is to use the "hosts" file. Configure it for the hostname and internal IP. If you don't have hosts (no extention) you might have a "hosts.sam" file. Copy it to just "hosts" and configure.
