Upon my clients usage of XOOPS that needs redesigning, I have installed XOOPS for 10 times at least in the past 3 days.

All goes well, but after logging in as admin, if I try to open the Administration panel, all I get is:

'This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed.'

And that's it. I have tried Pressing that button a zillion times and nothing.

Served locally in an environment that works well will all other scripts, CMSes, forums, you name it.

What is this? Erm, sorry guys, but - are we playing CMS or building one? Please don't get angry, but this is - absurd. I have tried a bit searching on this forum, found a similar problem but don't seem to find the solution???

This happens to me when I install a new XOOPS site and forget to add it to my Norton's allowed list. Its not a problem with XOOPS but with my firewall. Try disabling your firewall if you have one or checking your cookie levels and lowering them to see if that works. It always solves the problem for me and then I add it to Norton's :)
