I keep seeing register_globals=on in the forums. Is this a PHP opetion or a XOOPS option? I am new to PHP and XOOPS, but I am trying to learn. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a option of PHP. In the latest versions of PHP register_globals is set to OFF by standard. XOOPS works with both settings and so should all modules.
