Okay I'm actually having problems with this in more than just the News module. Maybe someone can explain this to me cause I can't find the answer in the Wiki or here in the forums (I could have missed it though ) Sorry I'm a Noob.

How do I add a link to another section/page/module in my site without the link causing the browser to open a new window?

How do I do it via HTML?

How do I do it via BBCode?

Thanks.

It should be simple HTML ..

Quote:

With target set to _self it should open in the same window.

What about BBcode, is there a way to do that?

And what's this <{$Xoops_site}> (I think that's it) code I keep seeing?

No way to do this with BBCode at the moment.

The last one is a variable that is used in templates. It should print the URL of your site where you place this. Is good if you like to switch your host later, so you don't have to change this because its dynamic!
