Hello,

I'm using the module 'Articles' and i want to add a search field (only) at the index page. That is a little bit of HTML code. I got it working when i put that HTML code in a block and make it visible only at the 'articles' pages. The only thing i dont like is that my own added search field in that case also above every article is visible.

So i want to edit the 'articles' module to simple add that little piece of HTML code at the articles main index page. My question is: in which file do I have to add that code? I tried /articles/index.php and /articles/templates but i cant get it working.

Anyone knows?

Did you try going to system admin > templates, click list link beside articles, click edit beside article_index.html and add the code where you want it to show on the article's index page? Also, you can only edit templates if you have cloned a copy of your default template and set it as your default template in system admin > preferences > general settings.
