I have installed the xoogle module to my XOOPS 2.0.6 site. My web host provider allows for special cgi-php compiles and I have done this without a problem until now. Do I need to have any special includes in my compile?
My problem is the following. If I choose the option of "google (the web)" I get an error.
The url post is as follows with the example search option for "Fishing".
Quote:
The web page renders the following error.
Quote:
Warning: Unexpected character in input: ' ' (ASCII=12) state=1 in /usr/local/dh/cgi-system/php.cgi on line 2788
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /usr/local/dh/cgi-system/php.cgi on line 2788
I have placed the php.cgi file in a root of the site, in a cgi-bin directory. (i.e.
http://{mysite}/cgi-bin/php.cgi)
However, if I enter "Fishing" into the block search for XoOgle it works, finding items under the XoOgle catagory.
Any ideas? Do I need to modify the my php.ini with any non-standard directive? I have a fairly conservative php.ini file, really only allowing file upload and file compression.
Thanks,
Jacob
