I am reposting my last two posts as a new topic, since it appears that they got buried in the last thread (e.g., I got no answers).

I have been working with Trikster on this, since I am his tech support :)

I am having the same exact problem on a personal site of mine - the Add Forum page in Admin is malformed.

register_globals is set to ON throughout our server.

I turned PHP debugging mode on. I am getting the exact same screen Trickster showed at the top of his thread - with this rather significant error noted:

"Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: xoops_admin_menu_js in file include/cp_functions.php line 72"

THIS is why the Add Forum window is not displaying properly. How can we fix this? Thanks.

I am thinking that the current version of XOOPS is not compatible with PHP version 4.32. Is anyone else running XOOPS on a machine with PHP v4.32?

The problem appears to be a malformed cache document, but which one seems to be a question. I had a blank admin_menu coming up, deleted the cached document; next refresh it rebuilt the page and all is well. (I don't know, but suspect, mine was caused by an out of space issue on the device.)
