Could anyone help me, please? I got this error message after installation. First it was just a blankpage. Then I switched the debug mode.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected ')' in /www/htdocs/v102520/xoops/html/templates_c/default^theme.html on line 78

Delete the file. XOOPS will recompile it from the dB. If you get the same error again, you will need to use some mySQL frontend and edit the offending ) out of the database.

Also, if you have edited/changed the default templates (/themes) you should click the green package next to system in admin.

Try deleting first, post back if it doesn't fix it.

Delete all files in templates_c and try again.

If this doesn't help, check the uploaded files with checker module, or upload all the XOOPS files again (except mainfile.php!)

If this doesn't help either, come back again.
