How do you install a theme? I've installed the template, so now how do I install a theme?

your theme should have a folder when you extracted the theme from .zip or .tar file it has the name of the theme. upload that folder to your theme dir via FTP

since you already uploaded your template from the XOOPS template system.

then goto your preferences/general settings and select your theme from the list and select the template you want to use for the theme as well and update settings.

your theme should now work for you

if you have multiple themes selected for use then you need to set it to the one you want one main page with the theme selection block. otherwise it will stay with the one you had selected previously as your defualt try deleting cookies and see if it works. make sure your theme is for XOOPS 2.0 and not 1.3.x.
most of the good themes will come with a docs or readme file to explain the specific directions of installation.
is it a custom theme did you download it where is the theme from?
