Hi,
When i update certain feature in themes.html and upload it back to themes folder, the effect is not reflected what could be the reason...i am pretty pissed of with silly spelling mistakes showing on my page.

Go to Admin -> Site Preferences -> General Settings

There is a box that says:

Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?

Click Yes

You need to delete all the files in the templates_c folder, except for the index.html file, in order to see changes made to the theme.html file.

Hi,
I deleted the files and it worked, except now the effect in the logo size is not showing. It remains at the previous size.I mean even though i changed the logo it still shows the prvious logo.

Deleting corresponding files from template_c dir worked!

Thanks for the solution I have been seeking for so long.

Just checking "update theme files" in the menu admin preferences page never worked for me. I think this could be a very good addition in the documentation (which instructs as above).

Likely you need to set the folder writable.
