I gather the default timeout for sessions is 15 minutes. I also gather it can be increased by using custom sessions - but I read here that using custom sessions can cause problems.

This is typical of the mail I get "I have been trying to compose a post for the forums for the past 30 minutes... during which time it TIMED OUT and when I went to PREVIEW the post I lost all my work."

Can the default session times be increased (v2.0.5.2) and has it been fixed in v2.0.6? I must admit I preferred the old full day sessions in v1.3+.
