In templates_c dir XOOPS generates such files as "db%3Asystem_block_mainmenu.html", "db%3Axoopspoll_block_poll.html" etc.

How can I delete them. My ftp client refuses to delete such files and says that the operation is forbidden...

Is there any way to delete such a files?

The templates_c folder is the cache folder for Smarty. There is no need to delete the files in there unless you are changing or editing your themes or templates. The contents update according to your cache settings.

Try another FTP client if you want to delete them. You can also use the File Manager of cPanel, i.e. if you have it.
