How to say the word "xoops"

Sorry for the silly question. Could you tell me how to say (pronounce)the word "xoops"? Does it sound like "sops"?

Xoops is pronounced "Zoops"

I say it like "zoops" ie 'oops' with a 'zzz' in front of it.

You would not believe how the discussions have been over this one!!

I believe... eh-herm, that the official pronunciation of XOOPS is "ZOOOps" to rhymn with the english word "zoo" A "Z" followed by a long "O" (pushing the lips out to form a kiss) ending with "pss" like a leaking balloon.

(Stands back and waits for a shower of rotten tomatoes)
