Have been trying to get news feeds working, the first feed takes okay, but all feeds following do not work. All feeds after the first are simply blank, and nothing at all renders. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Sounds a bit weird. Haven't heard reports of errors in this module.

If you turn on PHP debug, do you get any errors?

Of course, you can also check if the feeds are working at their end. Some of them might be down.

Here's a report of errors in this module:

https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=16088&forum=20&post_id=67946#forumpost67946

The XOOPS Headlines module makes my site disappear entirely. (I'm running XOOPS 2.0.5.)

I removed the Headlines module and the site came back. When I reinstalled the module my site disappeared again. This is very unfortunate as Iam really fond of this module and need it to work very much at my site.

BTW - The Headlines mod worked fine for 6 months at my site. It crapped out well after I upgraded to to XOOPS 2.0.4.

I sure wish the developer of this mod (or someone) would take a look at this problem.

BTW - I'd like to just add that my problems w/the XOOPS Headline module started on a Debian box. I moved everything to a Mandrake 9.2 box and the problem did not go away.

Any ideas. Anyone?

There is a Hack on german and french support homepages for saxparser.php with a change on line 44:

normal:
44 $this->parser = xml_parser_create('UTF-8');

Hack:
44 $this->parser = xml_parser_create();

All german feeds (and some french) I tryd dont display whithout this Hack.
Here a link to the hack:

Dear arianet,
Thank you. I tried the patch. It was no help. I got the same PHP debug errs after the patch as before. I do appreciate your suggestion.

Mithrandir?
