eventhough the check box to allow other users to view the email account is not checked, other member can still see the email address. I'm running XOOPS 2.0.5.1.

Is that a bug? How can I fix that?

Are you sure?

I cannot duplicate the bug on my XOOPS installation. I'm running 2.0.5.2, but the file userinfo.php, which handles that, is unchanged between 2.0.5.1 and 2.0.5.2.

Administrators can always see email addresses. Can normal users see your email address?

hey thanks... I double check and I notice that only moderators and webmaster can see the email. So it works.
