IRC module ?!?

Wher can i get an IRC module have found 1 in the downloads that says its an IRC chat.. but hey.. it wont hapen anything when i try to connect so i think that wont work :(

Did you configure it properly? Channel, server, port etc? I installed that module yesterday and it works a charm :o) You may just have to wait for the applet to load, it takes a minute or 2.

yes i have installed it corect.. and my server and port was

irc.dal.net
6667

and that should work.. i always use that when i connect at home

and yes.. i can see the chatclient but ther is no text comming even if i press connect... so its loaded

Hmmm, that's weird. Maybe you could try another server?

First one on top of the list. Haven't installed succsfully yet, but I use pjirc on another site and it works great. Just hope the port to XOOPS works. :)

i have solved the problem by my self and a custome box.. so now i got an IRC box

I am also having trouble with this one. I have tried several different servers with no luck....The java applet loads and then there is nothing but the grey box. Anybody have any ideas??

This one is too much hassle IMO. It something to do with CHMODing the irconfig.php to 666, but if the module is installed it won't let you do it.

I got it to work once then it wouldn't connect to my server Actively looking for another now.
