Headlines retrieval via proxy?

Hi,

My XOOPS is running on our intranet, all standard modules are working fine, except for the headlines module.

Thanks to our proxy-server, XOOPS can't retrieve the headlines information

Does someone knows a way how you can get the headlines module working via a proxy-server.
