I absolutely love Xoops. I have been using it for years.. I have put up MANY sites using XOOPS and it has never failed me...

BUT...

Recently, I am in desperate need of an address book in XOOPS and have not found an eloquent one. I am really amazed that there is not more people in need of this.

While I have not found a great contact manager or address book for Post Nuke either, Post Nuke allows one to create custom fields in the member's profile. This makes the member profile perfect for address book management.

I DO NOT want to switch to using Post Nuke.. Does anyone know of an existing address book module or one in development that is much more than just a hack of weblinks?

If you mean a address book per member type thing then theres not one nor one in development that I've heard of.
