I recently installed XOOPS via fantastico and all worked fine. I was about to go over "skinning" the portal but ran into a little problem. I can login with the admin user/pass but when i click administration menu I get a green header saying its the first time and to click the button below to continue. So I click Submit then it comes up logging in .... then it goes back to the green header page again. This is a continuous cycle. I read over the FAQ to find something saying add ?nonews=1 at the end of admin.php ..... so i did, but this didn't solve the problem either.

Are there any cookie settings I should be aware of or any sort of that?

nevermind, I have sorted the problem myself :)

Ah yes - the firewall? (please write how you sorted the problem for future reference )

I allowed HTTP headers in my firewall :)
